The Guesthouse had great interior and a sweet atmosphere. The balcony was amazing and the bed was so comfortable, I slept like a baby. The price difference for a room with a balcony was fair. The whole house smelled really nice. The kitchen had all the amenities except a microwave, but the oven worked fine. The water pressure in the showers was excellent. The hosts were thoughtful and provided clear instructions all around the house. The room had a nice view of the hills and glacier fields. The quiet hours were specified, which was appreciated. the attention to detail was excellent.

i recently stayed at sauthanes guesthouse in hofn and it was my favourite stay in iceland! the hosts were so friendly and the place was fully renovated, making it modern and comfy. we even got to see the northern lights both nights! highly recommended.

We had a fantastic stay at this guesthouse. The location is absolutely stunning, with amazing views right outside the house.
